Wow what a weekend! Georgia and the U.F.O. made her debut on kindle and was free to download.
And, as they say 'the lines went crazy' Georgia the Cow was downloaded all over the world. Europe, Canada the U.S.A. everywhere, or so it seems. It's a lovely thought to imagine Georgia being read in hundreds of different homes the world over.
So to everyone who downloaded Georgia and the U.F.O. - a very big thank-you and I hope you enjoyed the story. If you did then, I'm happy to report that Georgia's next adventure 'Georgia and the Spacecats' is coming along very nicely and as soon as I've finished you'll be among the first to know.
Once again thanks for making the weekend so successful.

Free Children's Picture Book Georgia and the U.F.O. - 16th and 17th August
Georgia and the U.F.O. is FREE this weekend.
That's right tell your mother and father, aunts and uncles, grand parents and even next door's dog. Georgia and the U.F.O. is celebrating it's debut on Kindle with a free giveaway weekend.
'O.K.' you're probably asking 'What's it all about?'
Well, Georgia is back in her second adventure and this time she's just minding her own business on her favourite hillside when a U.F.O. and a slightly bewildered alien make their presence known.
Told entirely in rhyme 'Georgia and the U.F.O.' is not only a fun read for parents, preschoolers and beginning readers alike, but also educational, as it features over 45 Key Stage 1 High Frequency Words (for UK readers) and over 45 Dolch List Kindergarten Primer/Pre-Primer Non Nouns (for US readers).
So remember to download it this weekend and it won't cost you a penny!

Georgia and the U.F.O. FREE THIS WEEKEND!
Hello,
Doesn't time fly? It seems a terribly long time since I last said 'Hello' and to be truthful it is! All I can say is 'I'm sorry', and I'll try to keep in touch more often.
Anyway, onto the exciting stuff. Since I last spoke to you I've been trying to get my head around completing an illustrated children's picture book on Kindle that occupies the majority of the screen. (I know it sounds pretty simple, but not when you've got a brain that runs a mile when it sees computer code.)
However, after burning the midnight oil for quite some time, I've done it. All my rhyming picture books are now available in 'Full Screen Format' which means they look pretty darn good (or so I think) on the Kindle Fire, Fire HD and several other Kindle platforms.
Now you might remember from my last post, I'd just released 'Georgia's Big Idea' as an interactive book on iTunes, well, 'Georgia's Big Idea is now available as an illustrated children's picture book for early readers on Kindle. But what I'm really excited about is 'Georgia and the U.F.O.' the next picture book in the Georgia series will be FREE this weekend (16th and 17th of August) on Kindle.
That's right 'Georgia and the U.F.O.' is FREE this weekend and then it goes back to it's normal price.
What's the story about? Tell you what I'll check back in tomorrow and tell you all about it then.
